Kukbo is a general logistics company founded in 1953 and the year of 2023 will mark its 70th anniversary as a company and 34nd anniversary as a Kospi-listed company.
Over the years, Kukbo raised a specialized workforce and built a national logistics infrastructure and global network. Kukbo was selected as Best Human Resources Developer and recognized as a general logistics company and continues to take active steps towards its vision.
Kukbo establishes a smart logistics system using 4th industrial technology, and shares and analyzes logistics resources in real time by introducing and utilizing digital transformation such as AI and IoT technology through creation of an AI-based autonomous driving environment and advancement of the logistics industry. We will lead the innovation of Korea's IT logistics industry by developing logistics optimization technology.
Kukbo intends to transform its image into a listed holding company representing the Mugunghwa Group by acquiring shares in Mugunghwa Trust. Mugunghwa Trust's stake is showing a higher dividend rate than the market interest rate due to its asset value with high growth potential, so it is expected to generate investment profits and improve its financial structure due to the increase in investment value.
And the WizWid business of IS E-Commerce, an e-commerce company, was fortunate. We expect to increase corporate value and return on investment by promoting new businesses and expanding sales through the expansion of investment in the logistics business based on the distribution business.
We plan to maximize synergies with Kukbo's logistics capabilities and IS e-commerce by investing in 3PL companies with high growth potential targeting abundant domestic distribution cargo in the metropolitan area, and gradually expand our business area nationwide.
